Deontae Wigodinski accused of throwing hot soup into another inmate’s face at work release

Deontae Wigondinski , of Winslow, Indiana had been sentenced to Wabash Valley Work Release in Vincennes by the Pike Circuit Court for Dissemination of Matter Harmful to Minors, a level 6 felony on February 20, 2024. However, on March 12, 2024, Wabash Valley reported to the Pike Circuit Court that Wigodinski had been observed by a guard throwing “hot soup” into the face of another offender. The Pike Circuit Court issued an arrest warrant for Deontae Wigodinski with no bond, who is awaiting further hearing at the Pike County Jail.

Kimrey accused of leaving ankle bracelet on Bridge in Vincennes

Christopher Kimrey was at Wabash Valley Work Release in Vincennes, while facing charges of theft in Pike County, Indiana on Cause 63C01-2312-F6-00364, when the work release facility on March 13, 2024, filed a report with the court that that Kimrey’s GPS bracelet had been “located on the George Rodgers Clark Memorial Bridge.”

The report stated that “Kimrey is a failure to return to lawful detention.” The Pike Circuit Court has issued an arrest warrant with No Bond for Christopher Lane Kimrey. Dana Moyes accused by Lloyd Coleman of stealing tool box, plant holder, washing machine and glassware from him while he was in work release: Moyes wanted by Police

On March 11, 2024, Pike County Sheriff Deputy Briar Meadors filed an affidavit of probable cause asking for an arrest warrant for Dana Moyes, age 41. According to Deputy Meadors Affidavit, Lloyd Coleman reported “Dana Moyes has stolen a tool box, plant holder, washing machine glassware cups/plates from his residence at 1565 West County Road 50 South, Petersburg, IN 47567 while he is in work release in Knox County.”

Meadors went on to state “Mr. Coleman also wanted to report that he had a check sent in the mail to his residence that Ms. Moyes attempted to cash without his permission. Mr. Coleman states that the check was signed in blue ink with sloppy cursive handwriting and signed in black ink underneath with ‘mobile deposit only’ in much neater handwriting below. Mr. Coleman states that she was not able to get the check cashed and he was able to successfully cash it himself.”

Charges for theft of tool box, plant holder, washing machine glassware cups/plates were filed against Moyes in Cause No: 63C01-2303-F6-00078 against Dana M. Moyes with the Pike Circuit issuing an arrest warrant with bond set at $15,000, with 10% permitted. A motion to revoke Moyes’ probation on Cause 63C01-2206-F5-000142, for which she had been convicted of two counts of Neglect of a Dependent in February 2023, with the Pike Circuit Court issuing an arrest warrant and setting bond on that matter at $25,000, 10% permitted.

Guilty Pleas in the Pike Circuit Court

State v. Jason A. Brewster, Cause No: 63C01-2402-F6-000043, plea filed in which defendant, Jason Brewster, age 47, agreed to plead guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine, a level 6 felony, with sentence of 6 months in the Pike County jail with rest of the counts dismissed.

State v. Robert J. Quackenbush, 63C01-2306-F5-000159, plea filed in which defendant, Robert J. Quackenbush, age 38 of Calhoun, Kentucky, agreed to plead guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine, as a Class A Misdemeanor, with sentence of one year, with credit for 3 good time and 3 actual days, and the remaining 359 days suspended to probation, with rest of the counts dismissed.

State v. John Cates, 63C01-2402-F6-00041, plea filed in which defendant, John Cates, age 49, of Jasper, agreed to plead guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine, as a level 6 felony, with sentence of 545 days, with rest of the counts dismissed. In the Pike County jail, credit for 14 actual and 14 good time days, leaving 517 days which is suspended to probation, with defendant having the right to petition the court for reduction to a class A misdemeanor upon successful completion of probation.
